We are excited to be hosting these field trips this year in Kindergarten:
- Andre Chevalier- Musical performance We welcome Andre Chevalier to Greenbrook to sing and play guitar to students. His songs focus on character traits that Greenbrook follows.
- Do the Rot thing a one-hour composting class for schools that is offered by the Gardens at Heather Farm in Walnut Creek, California. Students will be investigating soil and decomposition, solving a compost insect mystery, and creating a compost experiment.
- The Bee Keeper: offered by Sager Family Farm, students will learn how bees collect pollen and nectar, how beekeepers care for bees, life cycles, and the jobs of workers, queens, and drones.
We are asking for a donation of $20 to cover the cost of this year's field trips.
