We are so excited to share that we have planned three “in-house” field trips for our first graders. An in-house field trip is when the experience comes to us, rather than us leaving campus.
- Fur, Scales, and Tails Animals Presentation
First graders will get to participate in a hands-on presentation learning about different types of animals and get to see at least 15 different live animals. We will pair this special event with an animal unit taught in class.
2. The Bubble Lady Show- Science Edition
The famous Bubble Lady visits all first graders for a hands-on presentation and fun with bubbles! Not only does she amaze us with her bubbles, but she teaches us the science behind them.
3. The World of Wonders Science Museum is coming to Greenbrook and will be visiting all of our First Grade classrooms! They will teach the children about robots and coding. The students will participate in a special hands-on programming experience where they will create a racetrack for their Bee-Bots to move along.
In order to pay for these amazing experiences we are requesting a donation of $30 per student. Thank you for your support in providing such wonderful experiences for the children!
