We are very happy to share that we have some exciting “in-house” field trips planned in Kindergarten this year! An in-house field trip is when the experience comes to us, instead of us leaving the Greenbrook campus.
- Andre Chavalier Songspun Productions: Character Music Assembly
Kindergarten students will sing along, play air guitar, and more... as they participate in a
highly engaging performance that reinforces many character qualities such as Respect,
Cooperation, Caring, Sharing, and Empathy. - The Gardens at Heather Farms: Do the Rot Thing - Soils and Composting
Kindergarten students will get to dig in and investigate the science of soil and
decomposition. Students will solve an insect mystery, create a compost experiment and
discover more about recycling and green waste composting. - Lindsay Wildlife Experience: Habitats and Owls
Kindergarten students will learn what makes up an animal’s habitat. They will meet
some animal ambassadors and learn about what they need to live in their special
Homes.
Please keep in mind that field trips are 100% funded by parent donations. If we do not collect enough donations to cover the cost of the field trips, we will need to cancel the field trips and refunds will be issued.
We are excited for these very special learning experiences for our Kindergartners!
Thank you for your support!
